On Monday, Witheridge Primary School had the pleasure of hosting the annual Trust football tournament, with teams from Beaford, High Bickington, Witheridge, Swimbridge, and Pilton Bluecoat taking part.

It was truly wonderful to see so many children from across the Trust come together to celebrate the love of football. The day’s focus was on physical activity, teamwork, and respect—values that were clearly demonstrated by all participants. From handshakes to heartfelt congratulations, sportsmanship was at the heart of every match.

The football on display was of a high standard, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. In the boys' tournament, High Witheridge triumphed over Pilton Bluecoat in a thrilling penalty shootout to claim victory.

In the girls' competition, Pilton Bluecoat made it to the semi-finals before being narrowly defeated by the eventual winners, Swimbridge.
