This week, as part of our history focus ‘Britain at War’, we have been building our Anderson shelters using a range of materials and equipment.

As part of this, we carefully selected materials that represented materials used to build real Anderson shelters during WWII.

Our choices were informed from our research lesson where we watched a range of genuine information videos that were used during WWII.

Once we completed our building of the Anderson Shelters, we then tested the strength, size and waterproofness of the structure.
