The school has started a trial of a new way of counting our house points. We want to focus less on the number each child has and more on working as a team and being happy for one another when we are successful. Each house group has a different colour counter and you can contribute to the total in the same way you used to win merits. The counters are weighed and the total is displayed weekly. After our trial, we will survey staff, children and parents and consider if they felt this was a better way to reward the children’s successes than our current system.
